Dear Wayne Ledwell, Whale Release and Strandings Group:

Excellent presentation. Very educational. Extremely important for students living in an outport community like ours.

Presentations like these should be continued in the future. They give students a better understanding of a mammal they see in waters around the community. Would certainly welcome such a presentation in the future.

There is no road in this community, only a wooden walkway. The presenter Julie Huntington traveled 2 hours on a ferry to get there during a raging snow storm. The boat was held over so she could make the presentation and leave the same day. There were 17 students.
